Itinerary for NZ trip!
So, kittyfarmer and I have our tickets for our trip to NZ.
Short form: We both leave Knoxville in the afternoon of Saturday 23 Jan (that's 13 days from now), take separate planes to Sydney, then fly together from Sydney to Wellington - arriving at 11.15pm on Monday 25 Jan.
My itinerary looks like this:
Leave TYS (Knoxville) at 2.18pm EST 23rd Jan.
Arrive CLT (Charlotte, NC) at 3.25pm EST.
Leave CLT (Charlotte) at 6.01pm EST.
Arrive SFO (San Francisco) 8.49pm PST.
Leave SFO (San Francisco) at 10.40pm PST.
Arrive SYD (Sydney) at 8.10am AEDT 25th Jan.
Meet up with kittyfarmer, possibly spend day in Sydney. Or maybe just get very bored at the airport.
Then, we leave SYD (Sydney) at 6.05pm AEDT.
Arrive (finally!) at WLG (Wellington, NZ) at 11.15pm NZDT.
My plan is to stay in NZ until at least mid-April, then come back into the US for the remaining time until kittyfarmer's work contract is up in September. Then we're both coming back to NZ for good.

Arrive MEM (Memphis, TN) at 12.31pm CST.
Leave MEM (Memphis) at 2.30pm CST.
Arrive LAX (Los Angeles) at 5.01pm PST.
Leave LAX (Los Angeles) at 10.55pm PST.
Arrive SYD (Sydney) at 8.40am AEDT.
Meet up with yours truly, probably in the queue or the transit lounge...
Then, we both go on to Wellington as above, at 6.05pm.

On the 12th of Feb, kittyfarmer gets to go back early. Well, earlier than me, anyway...
Leave WLG at 6.00am NZDT (argh! coffee!) 12 Feb.
Arrive SYD at 7.40am AEDT.
Leave SYD at 11.25am AEDT.
Arrive LAX at 6.10am PST.
Leave LAX at 8.50am PST.
Arrive DTW (Detroit, MI) - hoping there's no snow - at 4.16pm EST.
Leave DTW (barring snow) at 7.25pm EST.
Arrive TYS at 9.02pm EST.
