Wow, that's a really interesting idea, and you captured that moment really well. I really, really like this, even if (or maybe because?) it hurts quite a bit, like all Jack fics seem to do lately. Thumbs up!

Aw, yes - Jack's an angsty bunny lol. I think we were all so used to seeing him as the carefree one that there's a lot to be explored on the darker side of him.
