Gawd, I love Love Actually six ways from Sunday.

I don't know why I love it, but I just do (although I'm not too fond of the Emma Thompson/Alan Rickman subplot...*sigh*)

Aw, it's just that kind of movie that you can love without needing a reason :)

Why don't you like it?

I think it's because they have a perfectly nice life that he ruins by cheating on her, and it's that much more devastating because she has no idea about it until it's too late, the poor woman...

Hm, I think I have a different view on their relationship. I just saw him as a bit bored with his marriage and being attracted to this young, mysterious woman and well, indulging in some exciting fantasies. So, he did buy her the jewelry, but I don't think that more happened between them, so I don't see him cheating on his wife (of course that depends on your defintion of "cheating".) I also see the two of them working it out in the end, so I don't think their life is ruined.
But I guess that's just my personal interpretation.

:DD It's been years since I watched Love Actually, and I'm still crazily in love with Hugh Grant's(/the Prime Minister's) amazing BRITAIN IS FANTASTIC, BITCHES speech. And the dancing. In his underpants.

Aaaaah, I love that film.

And the porn stars! :D ♥♥♥

P.S. I got your card - thank yooooooou! And I am planning on doing cards SOMETIME SOON, so you will get one, but because I fail and know nothing about the international postage system, you might get it late. OH WELL. *epic hugs*

Haha yeah, I love that speech and it must be even better if you're actually from Britain.
I usually don't like Hugh Grant, but in Love Actually he has this dry wit combined with the passion for his country which is just amazing.

Omg, it has arrived much to soon (like 10 days too soon) *is embarrassed*
Well, just send yours late, so we'll be equal XD *hugs*
