Didn't know that anyone over 65 were still dirty-minded...

I work at a Tattersalls store so heaps of people give me tickets to check whether there is a win or not. What people do all the time is scrunch the ticket instead of folding it freaking neatly which means the machine fucks up, sucks it up halfway and gets stuck. So I was explaining to the new girl how I get it to work with this old lady's ticket.

Me: You pull it and hold it like so. Make sure it's stiff yeh?

J (trainee): Yep gotcha.

Me: While it's stiff, you push it hard into there and wholla it's all good.

-ticket goes through-

Then the old lady cracks up laughing. I'm like WTF? then... oh... OH. I thought the boss was going to say something but then he started laughing. I started to apologise but the lady interupted me saying it's refreshing to hear someone speak that way. I just nodded. *scratches head*

Hmmm... it was one of those things that you had to be there. I felt like saying shooot me now...

Anyway, work was good. It's nice to be kept busy unlike at my old work. Breaks suck. One hour in some shopping strip is a killer... lucky for me there's a Baker's Delight!!
