I've barely read 1/8 of what I've bookmarked, but goddamnit I'm going to do a recs post before reveal. I have a predilection for the things that bring the funny this time of year. Hahaha I know right? I haven't even seen the original youtube video (though I've pretty much figured it out by reading the title) and I laughed so hard when I read that fic. This is the reason I love Yuletide.

The Hour was one of the few fandoms where I had a hard time picking one fic to rec - there are so many good ones!

I can't even rec the ones I have in time... and I just saw someone rec an amazing Bagthorpes vs the Zombies one... and why be so awesome, Yuletide?

(In other words, all your recs here look absolutely marvellous, and I want to read them asap, except I can't just now. I have at least read the Octopus one, like everyone else and, yes, :lol:some indeed.)

Also I am hanging around hoping that the Author Reveal will happen before I have to go and lie down for the afternoon.

Argh, I know! Apparently there's slightly less than last year, but that doesn't help much considering how many of last year's stories I still have bookmarked as "unread"...

I'm sorry for reccing awesome things that you can't read just yet! Probably you will still get to them before I get to all of yours, though. :D

(By the way, I got started on the Sword of Orion today - I had the wrong format files before and had to wait til I was back home to convert them to mp3. Anyway, YAY MORE CHARLEY. I love it so far! The scavenging is all very Firefly-esque, which of course makes me want to hunt for Dr Who / Firefly crossovers...)

YES, YES THERE IS. And lots of it! I haven't read all of this year's yet but I remember there being a truly awesome Bronte fic last year.
