I really like this:) I guess part of it is I like the idea of getting back to the basics. Our world is so complex these days I think many people rejoice a lot less because we have come to expected a lot more.

Simple can be best.

I like how creatively you used the prompt:)

Thanks. Yeah, that's often one of the themes and lessons of a Robinson Crusoe-style story, that return to simplicity. When you find that when that "the wheel" isn't ready-made for you and waiting at a store, you have to "reinvent' it.

That could be a neat side-effect to my entries here, that I someday find a way to expand on one of these shorts. But for now, I'll let the readers' imaginations run wild on where the story goes.
