The horror of the beloved Chipped Rabbit being considered 'charming' enough to buy-- especially since Leah knew that to be true!
I felt bad for Tobias, who-- as the narrator said-- could not help the shape into which he'd been made. I can also see why someone might buy him just to reduce the number of offensive lawn ornaments overall.
Somehow, in all this subterfuge, the bronze pig will manage to go where it wants to be, though. :)
Leah was taking a risk, leaving Chippy on the shelf. I had hoped that Tobias would get some sympathy, showing him more through Tres's eyes than how others saw him.

At least Chippy gets to stay with Leah, so that's good. =)
