note that the bullet -- or arrow or cannonball -- can be metaphorical. The gun we fire can be the careless word said, giving a direction to go left instead of right, pressing the "enter" key.

Such an interesting way of expanding this idea. All forms are danger unleashed an unable to be recalled before the damage is done.
