Not a big fan? I've seen a pretty good community production (with an excellent chair) but the movie was so-so -- can see how it's not for everyone

And how wrong they clearly are. The man has BECOME the role by now, clearly. Though being upstaged by a prop in the awards again and again just might do that to you...

I see this as the egotistical ACTOR stereotype writ large, but then anyone familiar with a theatre community knows at least one person like this. =)

I think if I saw this production I'd never go to the theatre again - and I'm a big musicals fan. Great entry!
