As I was leaving the Chinese restaurant after lunch today, I grabbed a fortune cookie out of the box-o'-cookies near the door. My fortune was this:

It's easy to be patient on the evening commute when you have nothing to hurry home for.

So today I was dumb enough to stop by my coworker's house after lunch. He's having his roof redone, so I figured I'd be nice and drop by to "see how it's going" before returnign to the office.
