Lack of Hot Water But No Lack of Books

We're out of heating oil.
Which defintely means no heating for the next days and possibly no hot water. Make that no hot water.
My parents are arguing about how this happened. This amuses me to no end.

So I'll be sleeping with two layers on and socks.

Heating oil costs gold nuggets pieces of paper that go 'poof' every time you turn your back;

Ahaha XD If we have to wait 10 days for the fuel I JUST MIGHT.
Or I'll go make puppy eyes to my neighbors. (who really *like* me since my dogs bark all the time and keep escaping, hem)

I wonder if we'll ever be able to actually pass things through a screen. Maybe in the future they'll find a way, which would be tremendously awesome/creepy o_O

Imagine LITERALLY downloading a book.
You buy on amazon and you get INSTANT DELIVERY.
... on the other hand my shopping impulse would go out of control and I would end up glued to my screen all day.

If u wanted, you could come pick up a couple of electric heaters from my place - of cos it will take a 2hr train ride & then back. Offer of a hot shower here too.
Oooh FREE Books i would grab too - except i hate reading for too long on screen & much prefer to have a book in hand - i know not tree-saving.

:) I think that would be a bit far to go for a shower, but thank you for the offer :D We've got a fireplace, so it's not too cold. Except for the bathroom, where it's downright chilly.

I take all the books that I can get. Even if at the end of the day I would choose a book over an ebook.
