After 10pm on a weeknight just strikes me as being really inconsiderate - particularly in a residential area like the one I live in where a lot people have young children.

Weeknights before 9pm seems reasonable to me - its just as dark after all, and if you want to let stuff off late at night wait till the weekend when less people need to get up early the next morning, its just good manners.

Don't mind if they are let off for the few days round the 5th, I like fireworks - just not late at night when I have to get up in the morning!

& please, don't get fierwoks and cigarettes confused, it woud be pretty dangerous ;p
