Getting to Know You Meme, Take 3

1. What name do you prefer to be called online? Cynthia, I guess, but I prefer not to be called out at all. It destroys the anonymity.
2. What is the origin of your username? Well, I was really stoned at the time, and looking back, it was wrong to be so stoned.
3. What is your least favorite thing to do? Folding towels or cleaning out the fridge after a power outage (nightmares about that one), or disappointing someone close to me, asking for help from an authority figure, admitting that I'm wrong...
4. What is your favorite thing to do? Writing, coordinating fight scenes, socializing...
5. Assuming you had the skills for it, what is your dream job? Film director, of course, just getting paid to write sounds a hell of a lot easier. But I guess I like doing things the hard way.
6. Which is better; to work at a job you dislike that pays really well or to work at a job you love that barely pays enough to make ends meet? The latter. But, as I'm starting now at a job I don't really want, to pay for what I really want to do, so I guess a combination of the two.
7. What are your favorite types of clothes? Comfortable but stylish. Old Navy, or just a rare thrift store find. Scarves and jackets are great in winter. Page boy hats.
8. What is your dream vacation? Eastern Europe, Russia, or New Zealand
9. Name your 5 all time favorites:
books: Frankenstein, Lord of the Flies, The Iliad, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Wuthering Heights
movies: Munich, Pan's Labyrinth, Amelie, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Fifth Element
tv shows: Angel, Oz, Venture Bros., Gravitation, Mythbusters
music (songs, performers or genres): rock
10. What are your favorite guilty pleasures? (or most embarrassing ones, if you don’t actually feel guilty about them?)
books: The Birth of Tragedy, or really any Nietzsche, I just don't like him, but I like reading his books, and arguing with them (really sharpens my debate skillz), The Bible, only because what a lot of people use it to justify, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, whatever anyone says, I thought it was brilliant
movies: Ooh, difficult, I suppose anything starring Jim Carrey, oh, that's mean, Bad Company, a lot of Bruckheimer's films, with the exception being the POTC trilogy, Domino, and Tomb Raider
tv shows: Law and Order, any of them, Dirty Jobs, Mike Rowe's humor, Desperate Housewives, Eddie Izzard, don't feel guilty, but from the look my brother gave me when he caught me watching one of his shows, maybe I should.
music (songs, performers or genres): Fall Out Boy's "This Ain'T A Scene, It'S An Arms Race", Backstreet Boys' "Incomplete", Paramore, and lately I feel like I'd be assaulted for saying I like Panic! at the Disco or My Chemical Romance. Some country, it's like crack, I don't think it's very good, it's just addicting. Some Led Zeppelin, damn ex-b/f.
11. What books do you love enough to have read them more than once? Frankenstein, Lord of the Flies, quite dog-eared, and Goblet of Fire, as well as Deathly Hallows, though I sort of only read those in snippets.
12. What movies do you love enough to watch again and again? Troy, my films, but mostly only with an audience, Tremors, and Tremors 2, any of Spielberg's films, Hero (with Jet Li)...
13. Favorite food? Pasta
14. Favorite drink? Jack/coke
15. Favorite vacation spot? Anywhere quiet and I can sleep.
16. What vehicle would you drive if money was not an object? A jet. Until the day flying cars are invented.
