Crazy cat!

So I'm just sitting here at the computer when I hear this banging/buzzing noise. I look over and I can tell it's coming from behind my bedside table. I go over there, and Sookie has a BUMBLE BEE on the ground and is swatting at it and playing with it! OMG!! I freaked out! I squirted her with a water bottle that I keep there to get her away from

Oy, that's dangerous! I'm glad she didn't get hurt, but how the heck did she get the thing in the first place?

I have no idea! I don't know how it got in the house or anything. I do know that we had a couple of bumble bees get in the house last year too. I think they must have a nest right up against the house or something.

She was batting at something in the window last night and I made her stop. But I never heard a buzzing sound, so I don't know if that was what she was playing with or not, but this little dude was pretty shocked and dazed. I'm so glad he didn't sting her.

He is still on the sweater that I let him crawl on and set outside. I don't know if he is too injured to fly or what, but he isn't going anywhere fast, and I'm too scared of him to knock him off!

Maybe she saw it through the window.

And I'll bet he's shocked! Getting swatted by a cat way bigger than you is enough to shock any bug.

Sookie is nutty but sweet. Sure glad she didn't get hurt. She is a very curious cat for sure. I like to watch her play with your Dad.

Sookie and Dad are hilarious to watch play. I think she would play for as long as he would. LOL!
