All I can say is, I'm glad 5th Years aren't being paired for classes. I'm not sure whether these assignments will foster any Hogwarts unity, though I suspect the numbers showing up for the Dueling Club will double. I'm getting settled in, finally. I've been unpacking in little bits, in between bouts of chasing Hestia all over the castle. Do ( Read more... )

Crookshanks and Hestia are terribly amusing together. I think he's appointed himself as her father.

Come see me and I'll help you with that locating charm.

I'll come as soon as I can get Hestia out from behind the tapestries. I'm almost ready to accio her, but she's so small, I'm afraid it might hurt her. Does Crookshanks ever do this to you?

Not really. He leaves Gryffindor Tower to walk around the school, of course, but he's older, so that's not as much of a problem as it might be to let a kitten roam around. And I suppose you should just let Hestia come out on her own; she will sooner or later, and then you can put the charm on her collar.

Thanks Ginny. I'll try my best and I know that he's a good student and all BUT that doesn't mean I want to spend TWO classes with him breathing next to me. But on the upside, I'll probably get decent grades in those lessons, yeah?

Hestia was down here earlier, she's cute.

Funny, I haven't seen Neville either.

Oh, I definitely don't envy you, having two classes in such close proximity. Maybe he'll come to the football match you're having and we can incapicitate him with a few good kicks (is that right, you really can't throw the ball?) and your worries will be over. That wasn't a very kind thing to say, was it? Hmm, I almost care.

Still up for that walk?

I hope so, but for some reason I don't think Malfoy is up for Muggle sports. (No you really can't throw the ball, Ginny.)

Of course. See you in the Great Hall?

I think Ms. Stockmuffin would be delighted, especially if some kitty treats were present. As soon as I can catch her, I'll bring her to you.
