Hey no problem. Anything to help the American Heart Association (They've helped me in the past, and I may need their help later on). I had some extra money from a loan and after taking care of some overdue bills, I figured it was a better way to spend my extra money then buying useless crap for myself. It is truly a wonderful thing your daughter is doing. I don't think I'd be able to give up getting presents and money for my birthday when I was a kid.

my mother, sister and i still got her a small gift (mom got her a new scooter, my sis gave her a gift card and i bought her yugioh cards and some girly stuff for her dolls)...my father didn't even donate (and his mom died from congestive heart failure) and ash's dad just donated and didn't even call her on her bday (was probably too drunk)...

we also took ash to dinner at the olive garden and a movie for we wanted to let her know that her selfless act was amazing, and we wanted to support that character in her...she really is one giving child -- she amazes me constantly about how she cares for others as well as animals...

she was really touched by how my internet friends stood up to the plate to help...i told her that i would only associate with decent, caring humans!

i know things are tight for you, that is why your gift was even more special in meaning to me...you are a good man, hon -- much love from down the road!
