As for the fashion thing, most of the fashionistas we know are almost always willing to go shopping and help pick out cute outfits and spread their fashion knowledge. Just ask, I'm sure they won't say no. For fashion unfortunates like me (and some others) it was super helpful to go shopping with them. :)

Having different interests isn't necessarily a death sentence, but for me personally I feel like I've carved out such a niche that I literally have no one I can talk to about my interests. It's tough because I feel like I have to become involved in other people's interests instead of getting other people interested in my interests :/

Can't help you with the fashion thing though--I've never had the knack for looking good.

I would have liked to gotten to know Paul Cornell better too. I saw him and Mike, I think Anton was there too, while I was in the bar, but I stayed where I was and finished my drink and then left. I spoke to him a little bit in the hallway for about a minute as I was walking to the Dealers Room and a little at the autograph table. I was pleased with the amount of conversation I did have with him. Seems like a great guy.
