Speaking of news, I saw on the news a few days ago that scientists can now monkey with DNA at some point in in vitro fertilization to get rid of the gene that causes beta thalassemia so very soon in the future, that may not even be a thing anymore, like polio.
Can you contact either one with the message "Can we request blood work *before* you see me instead of after, as my last full panel was on date"? I would think especially the hematologist would just want to order that as part of your visit so they can make the most use of their own time.
