I miss this. I miss ranting. I've been doing it on Facebook, and I've keep an updated journal on my Discord when I can, but this is a place where people came specifically to hear from me.

This year has been pretty hard around these parts, as it has been for most people.

That's great that Ace has her own apartment now! Look how far she's come! You must be so proud of her and yourself for getting her there! I highly doubt she'd have accomplished this in a healthy way without you and Brian to guide her. I'm super proud of you both. <3 ( ... )

Yeah I left originally because of the Russian stuff, but I figure at this point that so many sites could just screw us and sell our information at a moments notice and well, they already have my info :(

I usually only watch other artists who chat these days when I work. I just come in and say that I'm lurking while I work, so that I am at least saying something.

I get a room full of lurkers when I stream but only interaction on mfc. :/

The Russian thing isn't about data. It's about censorship and propaganda. I can't figure out if the company that owns LJ now is right wing or left wing, and if the blogs they censored were right wing or left wing. I don't know if they're involved in the US elections or what blogs they support now, if they're right wing or left wing. They're considered a media company and they're as big as Facebook in Russia. English users technically have no signed TOS with LJ anymore & our LJs can be deleted at a moment's notice for any reason bc the only TOS LJ now considers binding are the ones in Russian, which we're free to sign, but we'll have to agree to be bound by Russian laws, including not promoting an LBGTQ+ lifestyle. That's why the rainbow kids all left in 2007. If your LJ gets more than 3000 visitors per month, LJ considers you a media entity and you can no longer post pornography. Our cam pics could be considered pornography. I dunno, none of that sits well with me and I don't want to risk my archives disappearing bc I came to the ( ... )
