I think I've asked this question before.. but just in case it was only to myself in my head ... Is there anyone who's favorite band is the B52s? Someone who owns all their albums and has paid money to see them live? Thinks they are better than anything that has come before and will come after?

they're nowhere near my favorite band, of course, but i like them a lot-lot. have you heard their first album all the way through? if i'm having a bad day and don't want to listen to smog or something, "dance this mess around" is a reliable song for the subway ride home. and i know that you cannot name a song that is catchier or more fun or gayer than "quiche lorraine," because there is not one.

but everything released after 1980 is pretty bad, yes.
