GMAC is entirely staffed by idiots. And the last time I checked, they don't even have a way to make a payment through their website. That irks me, because I usually sit down right after my paychecks and pay all my bills at once, and I almost always forget GMAC until it's almost too late. Stupid fucking company, they are.

Good luck finding a no minimum balance saving account. Most have a min bal ...

I say squirrel away half and splurge with the other half.

...oh, and look at your local credit unions, they usually require none or far less of a minimum balance than banks.
