why does pitchfork inexplicably shit on ninja high school?

their record got a 7 awhile back which isn't terrible. i mean, i don't expect everyone to "get" a band that sounds like big audio dynamite as positive hardcore. it's not your thing, fine. but they didn't even really diss it when they had the chance!

or how about: awesome new republic, the most original bandname since most serene republic? or something. that would have made more sense...

morning wood would have been a good band name for an early 70's uk folk band who put out one record in edition of 250 that collectors now mortgage their houses for. as a contemporary band, it's just frightening... having written that the two worst band names ever are:

clap your hands say yeah (number 2.)

and...

WHITE LIGHT MOTORCADE (NUMBER 1)

seriously. there has never and will never be a worse band name then white light motorcade. it's worse then broken light bulb anal fetish.
