I had a really good time and loved sharing it with you too. The travelling was a small price to pay :)

The church service was actually ok. It was a civic service organised by the Parish Council, whereby all the significant people in the community (police, fire, the schools - hence Jay's invite) are invited to come together and then there's a lunch after.

The churches take it turns to hold the service and this year it was the Catholic church, which I actually found really interesting. And it was actually nice to up, dressed and coherent at 9.30am on a Sunday - not that I'm saying I'd do it every weekend!

Yes, we are being a bit indulgent going to Ibiza, but it's only for 6 nights and we got quite cheap flights :)
