Like the dunce I am, I went blazing down the stairs today and suddenly, horrifically, something popped in my left calf. Now I'm completely unable to put any pressure on it, and I have to use crutches (which my mom had to go out and buy for me) just to hobble to the bathroom. I'm also stuck in bed, with my leg and foot wrapped. If it's still this ( Read more... )

Oh dear...popping noises are not good. *plumps your pillow*
Yes, for sure, to the dr on Monday if you are not better.

And your poor grandparents. :-( Hope they can get well and rested soon. Happiness though for baby Seamus! =D

Thanks for plumping my pillow. Do I get a bell to ring whenever I need you? ;)

I think my grandmother is already feeling a lot better, having rested all day. And my uncle -- who drove my grandfather in today -- said he (my grandfather)is being doted on by the staff, so he's also feeling very attended to, and seemed to be better.

Sorry about your leg. That sucks. I hope it is better...much can be solved by rest. But if not...GAH! It never rains but it pours.

Cellulitis is no joke. You're poor grandparents. Glad your grandpa is in better hands. Helps to have a nurse in the family!

Happy that baby Seamus is home at last. Good for him and his family!

Thank god I moved home for awhile, or else I'd be totally screwed without the use of my leg.

My grandfather's the kind of guy who swims every other day, walks a few miles every day and refuses to get old -- at 84. So if he admits he's in pain, it's serious.

Anyway, thanks. :)
