1 - Yeah, it was hard to do because I loved working in music and had worked hard to get to where I was -- but it's easy to get in over your head with the party scene, which I did, so I needed to make a clean break

About Jack and Kate... I'm with you. Still dropping dead at every image or mention of what happened. I was driving to the doctor this morning, listening to Ryan & Jen's podcast, thinking, "Whoa... I can't believe this actually happened."

OH! So what did Ryan and Jen think of it? I love them. They're so down to earth.

I haven't seen many reviews - I heard the ratings were down but I haven't really heard anything either way about what people thought about the episode.

They dug it a lot -- they both thought it was an "important" episode, and that it was full of information. They even went, "Awww!" when they got to the proposal part of the recap (and they're Skaters... or, at least, Jen is).

The ratings were down -- but so were ratings for ALL the shows that night (which the Geese don't want you to know). Even the ODI said that when he posted the ratings on DarkUFO. But, in general, I've heard ONLY positive things about the ep (including many opinions that it's one of the best of the season); the ONLY negative things that have been voiced have been, of course, from Geese. Seriously. I was really pleased with the reception. And I'm noticing an odd shift in things, lately... in our/Jack's favor.
