Wow, this is great! I love the way you have Neal and Mozzie meeting! And the epilogue is just what the fic needs to finish it off nicely!

Thank you. I was hesitant to post this fic because I wasn't quite happy with the writing style and certain aspects of the story, but I'm relieved to see that quite a few people seem to enjoy it. So, thanks for dropping me a line to let me know! B.

I always wanted Mozzie and Neal to go back further than they did according to the canon. Glad you liked it.

I just found this story via the WC H/C community, and I've fallen in love with it. Such a well-written, well thought out tale. It was brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing it. I wish I had more words to tell you how much I love it, but I just keep coming back to brilliant!

I read this story a long time ago and just came across it again. I have to say, it is one of my favorite stories ever. It was just so touching. The way Mozzie cares for Neal in the show; you could see things beginning this way. I just love it. Nice job. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story.

Not sure if you're gonna see this or not, but I just wanted to tell you how much I truly enjoyed and continue to enjoy this story. I've read several times and I keep coming back to it. The Mozzie and Neal relationship is one of my favorite thing about the show, and I'm always satisfied by a good backstory fic, but this hits all the right buttons for me. I love how you paint Mozzie and his developing attachment to and care for Neal. Also, this is fabulous:

This is the reason he doesn’t like dealing with people. People are the element in any operation that Mozzie can never completely control. Inanimate matter follows the laws of physics. People follow chaotic rules of passion, instinct and fear that Mozzie can never fully understand. They are temperamental and unpredictable. They enter your life, drink all your orange juice and, inexplicably, leave you with a fridge full of chocolate-flavored lactose bombs. They almost beat you in a game of Jeopardy one minute and turn into a pitiable lost child the next.Anyway, don't know if the ( ... )

I don't do much productive writing anymore, but comments like yours still make my day. So thank you very much. I enjoy Mozzie's and Neal's relationship too, especially how they so seamlessly and effortlessly trade places being the "adult" in the friendship. One of my favorite moments of this most recent season was when Mozzie made Neal have a dinner on the floor for fear of more attacks of his life. Behind all of his complaining you could tell that Neal was very much touched by the protective gesture. (I hope this wasn't a spoiler!). Thanks again for taking the time to leave a comment. I truly appreciate to hear from you. B.

Not a spoiler :) It was one of my absolute favorite moments of the season, too. I’ve been enjoying how very BFF they’ve been this season in general, there have been a lot of lovely scenes with the two of them. They’re so intimate in a wonderful way, and this “ how they so seamlessly and effortlessly trade places being the "adult" in the friendship ” exactly. I loved how their relationship was played in the season finale, as well, and I’d really love to see Mozzie’s reaction to the cliffhanger. Oh, show, please come back.

Sorry for rambling on ;)

Ramble away. It's unhealthy to keep that stuff in ;)
