I thought the witch bunny sounded familiar, but I was sure I hadn't responded to this prompt and/or read your response. Then it finally hit me that I'd read about it on Facebook. D'oh!
There were two things I was scared off. Please forgive me if I've mentioned them before. I was 6 yrs. old and in Kindergarten when Star Wars, Episode IV premiered. I'd just gotten over being scared of ghosts, or so I thought. We came back home after the movie and I couldn't get to sleep for ages because I thought I kept hearing Darth Vader's scary breathing. Like he was a ghost haunting me.
Then a couple of years later when we'd moved to a new home I kept being woken up by some scratching sound at my bedroom window and saw a creepy shadow through the curtains. Mom got my Dad to go outside and check. Turns out it was just a scraggly tree branch that kept brushing against the window screen when the wind blew it. lol. Dad was very heroic and cut down the sapling tree that was scaring me.
