So I am finally in London! Yes, I am here and while I'm feeling a little sick (which meant I couldn't go to London today. Dang it!) I'm pretty settled. Firstly, If I like an actor I'm fairly likely to follow them into new roles, but I have a friend who doesn't do that. She only likes watching the characters, not so interested in the actor in other roles. So, long story made short I'm not sure if your mom is interested in watching Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia) in a different role, but I wanted to pass this along, just in case.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Amber Tamblyn is joining the Princeton Plainsboro team for a multi-episode arc on Fox's "House."

The former "Joan of Arcadia" star will play a brilliant med student who joins Dr. House's team although she's not yet certified to practice medicine, and is confronted with the ethically questionable ways that the good doctor operates.

The hire helps fill the void left by Olivia Wilde who's taking a break from the show while shooting her movie, "Cowboys & Aliens." The show's seventh season gets underway September 20.
