sadly, your only real option is to take the finish down on that spot. if it's only in the closet then you can just take it down in there, and not have to do the whole room. what's happened is the pee has sunk into the wood because the finish can't withstand cat pee like it can normal liquids, like vinegar and water. so you're only cleaning the finish, not the wood itself, and that's where the smell is coming from.
once you take the finish down, soak the exposed wood with anything that smells good. if that doesn't work, you're going to have to refloor that section. if it's a small spot, it's probably not an expensive job.
