Try a half hour of hard exercise a day. It won't help right away, but it will long term. Altering your sleep routine rather than fighting for sleep might help too. And hey, if all else fails, talk to a doctor. Good luck!

OH NO!!! Insomnia is horrible! I've tried everything...exercise, warm milk, reading/working, breathing exercises, movies...ugh. My brain wouldn't shut up. The last time I had it, I was tempted to try the "cast-iron frying pan wack to the head trick" but didn't want the bruise! ONce getting really really drunk worked but that can't be done on a work night...and the hangover isn't worth it. I wouldn't exactly call it "healthy" sleep! ;) Well, divko, good luck and may you have DEEP SATISFYING SLEEP SOON! :) *hugs*
