I'm glad you liked it. It's actually just something really tiny. At one point Michael tells one of the other characters (I can't remember who now) that they weren't there when Brian was at the hospital right after the bashing.

But that could mean right away after the bashing, when Brian was crying. The others weren't there to see that but I could absolutely believe them showing up as soon as they heard.

I really liked your depiction of Debbie. Her wanting Michael to just spit it out and having to ask if Justin's dead. That was very powerful.

I'd thought about what might be OOC and my guess, before I saw your response, was Jennifer's reaction to knowing Brian was there. But anger and blame might come later in the game after an initial realization that Brian was there to stop whatever happened. The first reaction could very well have been gratitude and thoughts of Justin's happiness. So imo your not off the mark on anything!
