I understand how he feels, but so much of the show has been based around the brothers' completely-unshakable-no-matter-what bond that having that ripped away just makes me feel sort of raw and not in a good way.
Sorry for the random person commenting, but have been wandering around to see others' reactions to the episode. And I knew that that ending scene just left me aaaaaching like mad, but that really helped me put my finger on exactly what button was being pushed. And wowch, was it ever pushed. Man, am I ever impatiently waiting them finding their way back to that unshakable-no-matter-what.
No worries about random commenting, sorry for taking so long to respond. I had some trouble figuring out my feelings about that last scene as well. I'm glad my description helped!
Sorry I took so long to respond. I'm sure relationship mending is going to happen, but I'm pretty pissed they don't just TALK to each other about what went down, because I think if they did, a lot of misunderstandings (such as that stupid voice mail) might be resolved and they'd get back to being Sam'n'Dean, as they should be.
Also, I'm mad hoping for an Alanis Morisette God à la Dogma.
