I have mixed emotions about the Michael Jackson memorial. While it's sad, it's also a bit of an unneeded media circus. I think a tribute concert down the road would have been more fitting. A funeral/concert? I just don't know...

i found it extremely bizarre about the coffin. i mean i liked the memorial service and i thought it was fitting but the coffin being there is strange to me.

With the amount of musical performances (and the length of time), I kind of felt like there needed to be fireworks or something. But maybe you're right. Holding the performances for a concert down the road, might've been better. I think they felt like they had to make it a huge deal since so many people around the world gathered for it.

I don't know, the whole thing was pretty strange...
