i'd love to do a pumpkin this year, but didn't see any patterns i liked.

hehe... homely pumpkins are awesome too, though. actually...they're a bit more halloweeny to me when they're homely. i think because they remind me of when i was little and dressed up and stuff. :)

see, i never have either. mine always just look like your everyday carved pumpkin with triangle eyes. lol. (which is cool too cause i love those but i wanted to try a complicated one!) ... i got a kit thing that came with "special knives" and a book of stencils and a wipe off marker... you trace the stencils onto the punkin and then use the trace lines to cut on. it's hard as hell to cut wipe off marker, btw. lol...without it wiping off in spots from your hand and stuff but it helps to have the lines. you should try it sometime. it was fun. :) much easier to cut with one of those knives than a REAL knife. you can't really cut yourself... :)

wow love them! Noel and I are carving pumpkins this weekend. We may only do one though for starters. I have never carved one before, so it's exciting :D
