So - we have squirrels - LOTS of them. Not as pets mind you... they are wild, wacky and maddening most of the time. In fact when we moved into this house there were a minimum of 15 bird and squirrel feeders in the backyard alone. In fact it wasn't a backyard - it was a habitat. My sister has spent a great deal of time over the last several years

Possums arent nearly as helpful, but fortunately we havent any of those, though I know of lots of people who have them living in the roof of their house. What a lovely surprise though.

We have possums here too... though they don't seem to hang about the house - thank the lord! LOL! Enough rodents as it is. ;p

Squirrels--we got those too. Three of them. And 3 raccoons, one possum, two groundhogs and a chipmunk. OY with the critters already! LOL Between the three squirrels and Bennie and the Jets (3 raccoons--Bennie's as big as the other two put together) they could eat us out of house and home in a week.

We occasionally have raccoons but most of those stay away because of the coyote that hangs about the area. Bozley saw some deer the other night crossing the road from the park into someone's yard to eat their flowers. He was so freaked out he didn't do anything - just stood there and stared at them. Silly dog.
