Aaaah Nuit - I'm telling ya - they are awesome! Will definately post more links here - found a full show they did in Germany at Area 4 last night. Such a unique mixture of metal music with a classical twist. All of these guys are classically trained cellists. It all started as a Metallica cover band that only played for friends and parties, then built up over the last 10 years as they started writing their own material, to them now performing world wide. Eicca (the blond) started the band, with Paavo (short dark hair) and two former members (Antero and Max)who have since left the band. Perttu who played the one live show with them that got them their first record deal, played off and off over a couple years, then left what would have been a lifetime position with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra to join the band permanantly. The drummer, Mikko, is a trained jazz drummer who became a permanant member in 2005.
