OMG i hate that, someone took a confidential conversation i had awhile back, not even with THEM, out of context/confidence and the next day my boss was like "please tell us before you leave so we can find a replacement" blah blah. HOW COMPLETELY RUDE, unethical, and obnoxiously nosy! plus, should any of your plans backfire (not that yours will, i mean when coworkers do that in general), someone has gone behind your back and it can potentially damage your job security!

Bleh, that's ridiculous, and it's pretty much the same conversation I had. My boss actually thought that I wasn't going to give her notice before I left, when in reality, I was/am going to give her a three week verbal and a two week written. ALL because someone eavesdropped, and then opened their big fat mouth.

and EXACTLY!!! Gah! With my company, once you put your notice in, you can't take any sick time, or vacation time, or any of that jazz, so now that I've been forced to put in my notice, I can't take time to go to the doctor or anything for the next month!!!
