Supernatural 5.07 Episode Discussion [spoilers!]

Oct 30, 2009 00:27

For an episode that had no Castiel in it and not a whole lot of Jensen Ackles, I was surprised by how much I liked the episode. I also have a brand new OTP!

Okay, Show, Sam is gay. I get it. You didn't need to try so hard to convince me! )

fandom: supernatural, type: spoilers, type: blah blah blah

Hahaaa. OMG. Like every time Dean and Cas start getting hot and heavy they hears Sam and Patrick giggling like crazy downstairs. LOL

DOES ANYONE ELSE SHIP BOBBY/OLD DEAN. PLEASE TELL ME I'M NOT ALONE.

Either Sam is gay, or everything male and supernatural wants to do him. BUT THE TRICKSTER IS DEAN'S. I DEMAND IT.

IT WOULD BE ATTACK OF THE FOREHEADS!

See . . . I see Bobby as a sexless father figure, so the idea of shipping him with people makes me go "Eeeew."

ITA with #9. it's my secret wish that SPN!Luci will end up being a good guy and helping them take on the disobedient bad!angels in the end. I seriously think that if he sees the truly bad side of Heaven and the good side of humanity, he could be swayed to our side (of course, Sam being over here helps, too).

You know, that's a really cool idea! I never thought about it that way before. Hmmm. . .

For example, watching Bobby and Dean interact I thought to myself, "Here are two equals."

Same here! Also, I wasn't paying a lot of attention so I kind of missed seeing Dean's reaction to Sam saying he was really thirty years old and not around the same age as Bobby when he actually is, considering Hell. Maybe the show will bring it up again? Could be interesting.

*phew* I'm glad I'm not the only person who felt that way! I'm so used to seeing Bobby as the "father figure," you know?

And it would be interesting to see the "Dean's real age" addressed!

Awww. I'm sorry the ep left you cold. It worked for me, I felt a lot of character development being demonstrated by Sam and Dean's actions.

Patrick was awesome!

Hmmm. Plot line yes, it would fit into any season. Character development no. . .

I wouldn't expect to see Dean taking Bobby to task, or trusting Sam to get the job done with a man!witch at the poker table. Nor would I have expected Bobby to be so broken or Sam to be so pulled together.
