omg, 1x2. i kinda want to read it but i've been jaded by the sheer amount of fics of abysmal quality i've read in that fandom. >___> how many of the usual badfic tropes (i.e. everyone is gay, all the pilots live together!, evil!relena, etc) are there in the fic? :p

There is no Relena in the fic, hmmm some of the pilots are gay but other than Wufei the other pilots aren't really a big part of the fic at all. It's a total AU so it manages to avoid most of the fandom tropes. For example, Duo and Hero's love is not perfect -- its awful and damaging and twisted and it was forced on them as children. But in the end they manage to live and love each other .

I really recommended the fic to you!

You have no idea how amazing the rest of the art is for the fic. I could only use this one because the others are really, really disturbing. But loony_lucifer is one of my all time favorite artists and a fic with her art is just ridiculous. The art is great . . . the scene that she wrote that inspired the art is even better.

Why I love it: Have you seen "Blood Diamond"? Even if the answer's no, listen to the OST while reading this fic. It's well-written, looong & such an amazing story. I read it & immediately wanted to reread it. It's just one of those stories that makes you think that while this is happening in a fictional place, it could very well be happening

I'm not telling you since that's a large part of the plotline & it's all canon pairings by the end, though Edward/Bella take ages to actually reach that point.

Sacrifices Arc is so awesome. I started it two years ago then abandoned it when I moved back... finished it last year. god, I love it.

I kinda want to make a .pdf of SiE with the artwork scattered throughout, but I've got no idea how to do that. argh. & I've no idea if Loony + Raz have similar thoughts. don't want to encroach!
