There are no words for how amazing this episode was. I mean it had everything I wanted it to have - they moved the plot forward light years, got the Almost!Ageddon back on track, gave Anna a purpose and then killed the fuck out of her in a slow and agonizing way. What else does a fangirl want in an episode? OH! And it had threatening!Cas . . . not to mention some of the most EPIC cameos in the history of all cameos!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
URIEL!! I'VE MISSSSSSED YOU!!! And this Uriel was the bestest :) But you know who was better than Uri? MIKEY!!
Okay. So, when the spoiler came out that they "cast" Michael I was sure that it had to be someone who was already part of the show and not a new vessel like they've given Lucifer. Why? Because a new vessel gives them a way to use the character without involving a Winchester and we are definitely going to see Michael!Dean and no other Michael after this. I'm 100% convinced that Dean will say "Yes" now.
Also, I love how they totally retconned the "consequences" of being an angel's vessel. I mean, I get it - its hard to write season 6 when one of your characters is a vegetable . . . but still, way to neuter Dean's incumbent self sacrifice by making Mikey nice!
Bloodlines?! Who knew - it's not like we have an opening that flashes the title on a background of menstrual blood or anything! That must be another show I'm talking about. OMG, I wonder if Lucifer is evil? I bet we'll find out next ep!!!!11eleventy!!!1!
Though, I like all of the Sammy exposition they've been doing - it's looooong overdue. That said, I feel like they've regressed Dean a bit. Hmm. But maybe his lack of emotion, in general, is a reflection of the fact that he's preparing to say "Yes" to Mikey?
Speaking of which, John!Mikey was so damned hot. Jesus, they can pick their male actors.
In the end, Mary Winchester is the SCHIZZLE, Anna is finally gone, Cas is badass and . . . still laying languorously on Dean's bed!
