And this Uriel was the bestest :)

Oh hell no, them's fighting words. Uriel 1.0 was the best.

As for the rest.... Why couldn't Anna have been gloriously evil for the rest of the season? Or they could bring back Pam, Jo and Ellen - they could be Zombies? Zombies make everything better, right?

Uriel 1.0 WAS A WHINEY MEANY PANTS :P

I actually would have LOVED for them to have drawn out the "Anna is Evil" storyline.

ZOMBIES FTW!!!

I'm a bit hypnotized by that gif. OMG, Misha Collins you are hot.

And word on all of this. I was so happy to see them actually move the show forward -- it's been LONG overdue.

I wish we got more conscious!Cas, but I did love all the Winchester stuff we got. We're getting progress on Sam front, but not much on the Dean front. The show obviously doesn't know how to do character progression and development on both brothers at the same time -- it's sad.

Michael!John was like...hotter than the sun. Matt Cohen is so damn brilliant, and the scenes between Michael and Dean were beautifully played. I wish we could keep Matt Cohen as Michael. So good!

I need codas of Dean putting Cas down to sleep in the honeymoon suit. Come on fandom!

Yes, that would be lovely. but since he inhabits a body that's in the past - give thought to WHO John is in the future/present? *squees*

It made perfect sense that John was a vessel for Michael. I mean he was the first righteous man before he had to go and die. And good god was he hot as Michael. You get no argument from me.

I am also now agreeing that we will see Michael!Dean. It's the only place the show can go now judging by how they are steering the show. They gave the show an out for season 6 when Micheal offered to leave Dean's hot body in tact.

And I really really liked Anna in this episode. Seriously if they presented her like they did today during last season she would have been a lot more palatable. By the way I think we all know now that Anna is a boner killer! HA!

I actually think the fact that Mike used John as a vessel is what made the demons think that John was the "Righteous Man." I have a whole theory about how Mikey deliberately did things to make sure Dean had no choice but to become the Righteous man. LOL

ANNA IS A TOTAL BONER KILLER!!! TOTALLY!

I think Anna was working for heaven... like Castiel said, they don't just let you out. I thought immediately that she was sent. Plus I think in the information for the episode it said the angels sent an agent... and that agent was Anna. I think Uriel just wasn't supposed to get involved which is why he said he shouldn't be there or whatever ( ... )

Okay, I'm finished watching it now... and whoah, it exceeded my already high expectations by a lot

I don't even find a good way to begin this just to do this episode justice! Uriel! Unconcious!Cas, FREAKIN' MICHAEL [Finally!!!]

Was it just me, or did Michael come off as kinda creepy? I mean the whole "free will is an illusion"-stuff, that can't be really his opinion, right? Right?
I'm all for Dean's "Team Free Will" <3 Somehow I think it would be awesome if Dean and Sam themselves could off Lucifer, it'd prove to Michael (and, well, to every other angel) that there's more to life than obeying orders from God knows who.

At least this episode established that we won't have to look forward to vegetable!Dean if he ever says "Yes" in the future and we finally got confirmed what most of the fandom already guessed about the bloodlines... (but I wonder if there was anyone invested in fandom left who didn't have this theory).

.... okay, maybe I just need a good excuse to watch it again <3

If there's anyone left in fandom who was suprised by the "blood line" reveal I . . . worry about them ;)

ANYWAY, I'm actually DYING to see Dean!Michael so I want him to say yes. LOL. But only because Dean!Michael dominating Cas is a hot mental image that wont go away!

Same here... though I know no-one who didn't think of that so far =D

Me too! And it really sounds rather likely now that he will say yes to Michael... Though I think we'll have to wait more than a few episodes for it.
(And I can't stop watching the last 10 minutes of the episode because it was so hot, I'm still wondering why my laptop hasn't molten down now)
