Yes, at this point, there seems no reason for Dean not to say yes. Before it was don't say yes and become a vegetable but . . . . . . . now why not? Put on the Michael suit, whomp on Lucifer before he gets to Sam and go have celebratory pie.

It was an awesome episode though. Magnificent acting as always from Jensen and great chemistry with the actress playing Mary.

I agree that Show needed to be pushed steamrolled forward & that Anna was a fantastic villain. Julie really sold this performance & I adored her. Along with the actor for young!John. so much love for him.

but from a different perspective, she was omg!estrogen on a show that is notorious for killing women off. Anna simply became the next in this line. The fight scene between her & Mary was kickass however. I'm a huge fan of that; oh Show, why can't you give us strong female characters who last?

Cas is a BAMF. at times. He portrayed a little smidgen of that with the opening scene with Anna & packing that wicked angel-killing knife! and by taking Dean & Sam back with him, even though it completely wiped him out. is waiting for that honeymoon suite fic but as far as the rest of this episode, on that basis alone... he's no badass. Castiel is weak and in over his head, especially when it comes to the other angels. It's admirable that he's so protective (and admitted Sam was his friend! Aww!) but honestly, what can he do ( ... )

. . . Mikey was nice, he um . . . healed Sammy. . . and John . . . and I'm pretty sure he is the reason Cas got back safely. Not to mention the whole not turning Dean into Gerber food thing :)

Frankly, we're I Michael I would have just left them all to die. Mary was already pregnant with his vessel. What else does he need?

Micheal wants to kill Luci, I don't think he cares who his brother is possessing at the time. I think Dean will say yes, and Michael will smite the ever loving Hell out of Nick!Luci. I do not think that Sam will ever say yes. Dean changed the future when he called Sam and kept them together.

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW IT PLAYS OUT!!

Am I the only person who didn't think Michael was nice? I think he was rather backhandedly nice if anything... nicer than the rest have been to him, but still bent on the same end. I was kind of hoping I'd see a Michael who didn't want any of this to happen and was indifferent about it all... granted he doesn't really WANT to kill Lucifer, but he's going to do it anyway. Plus, I would have liked to see Dean question where god was anyway... if Michael is supposedly listening to him, where in the hell is he? I don't really trust Michael for some reason. I don't know if I trust his word on saying he wouldn't harm Dean by using him as a vessel... for all we know he could be a liar. Just because Lucifer is a rather honest individual doesn't mean Michael has to be. After all, it'd make for an interesting contrast... God's boy a liar and hell's boy an honest being ( ... )

You aren't the only one. I thought he was a but of an a-hole (literally, my first respinse after "OMGMICHEAL*FLAIL*" was "I was hoping he wasn't going to be an a-hole, but he is".

Hmmm. I don't think Mikey was sweet and cuddly wuddly - but he was far less of a jerk than say . . . Zachariah or Uriel.

I don't think Sam is going to say "Yes" to Luci. I think that Dean changed the future by staying with Sam and that instead - in Detroit - it will be Dean who says "Yes" when his back is to the wall.

As for Luci possessing Dean, I think that his vessel had to be baptized with demon blood - which is why it could only have been one of the Chosen Children who would be his vessel. Further more, Mikey could only possess the "Righteous Man" - and Sam is not that man. So, IMO, this is why Luci can't posses Dean and Mikey cannot posses Sam. Following this theory - both of them could, however, have possessed John :)

You only have 10 questions?! I HAVE A BAJILLIONTY!!

*still watching Misha as I type*

Awesome review, but I agree I'm really let down by Dean's character this episode, maybe because I want him all concerned over Castiel? Ah well.

Yeah. Dean now-a-days can only seem to muster up a reaction when Sam is on the verge of death . . . and even then it's still sorta a stony faced "feel my man-pain" kinda reaction.
