So will Sam. So will Castiel. Actually, I'm particularly proud of where we take Sam in this episode. He has a kind of maturity in dealing with Dean that it took us a hundred episodes to earn." -----------

I am so damned excited about 5.18!  I wonder who the important character will be that sacrifices themselves? Not Cas since he's in the following ep . . . . Dean? Possible, no one said Michael has to possess him the very second he says, "Yes." Or maybe . . .  Bobby? Show has been working super hard to yank our heart strings with him. Gabe? The Impala? WHO'S LEFT? Sammykins?

Also, it's going to be really fascinating to see that friend from Sam's Stanford years! I've been dying for a little bit of exposition on that time in the life of the Anti-Christ that Wouldn't. Not to mention the character is going to provide some awesome moments of juxtaposition between  Sam's curent  and past self.

In the end, I foresee that there are definitely going to be some great Dean/Cas moments!
