Everyone is telling me that Misha hasn't been offered a contract yet? :/???
Well, mostly I am running circles around the concept of... like, how can Dean go back to hunting and keep the relationship(s) with Lisa and Ben. So either one of them has to break it off, or we see her as a guest star here and there, or she's a seldom-referenced Sarah figure... or she's (they're) gone. They've slowly reversed Dean and Sam's roles for seasons now, and here we have Dean as the one with the normal life and (maybe!not!Sam still mired deeply in the supernatural). And everything sort of paralleled and referenced various things down to the S1 pilot and... one of the obvious ways a S6 could go is for not!Sam/demon!Sam/etc. to pull a YED on Lisa and kill her and/or Ben. That would rip whatever life Dean's constructed apart and possibly bring him back to where SAM started S1 at-- wanting revenge? + Bonus hey your brother is back but sort of evil. Wanna go save him? Which requires Castiel. It does!
Hello, I poke my head into your conversation to speculate that maybe with the showrunner change there won't be a contract offer unless and until Sera plans on a way to incorporate Cas into season 6. I seriously hope Sera loves Misha the way we do.
I could have seen Dean settling down with Lisa through an entire season if Lisa were a hunter. Some hunters seem to be stationary, policing a single city, and I could see Dean doing that, but the whole point of being with Lisa and Ben seems to be ignoring the supernatural. If Lisa and Ben can't fight as well, it's just too dangerous. I don't need to see another love interest slaughtered, so I hope Lisa and Ben don't end up killed as a way to convince Dean to come back. Rather than that last shot of is!it!Sam foreshadowing an attack, I hope that Dean's Winchesteryness will win out and he'll start shouting at Cas to come down from heaven and help him get Sam.
I loved Dean in the episode so much. He has balls made of brass! I love how brave that man is.
I thought the thing about Chuck being god too but then Dean's amulet didn't glow around him, so maybe not. Maybe he was just called to heaven, or god's instrument to help the boys.
I loved Sam as Lucifer. I thought he was fantastic.
And also who tried to ORDER HOOKERS WITH HIS CREDIT CARD.
There's already been some lively debate about 2014!Chuck-as-God being God or if 2014 was all a construct by Zachariah, thereby negating the God/Toilet Paper comments. XD
It also adds new dimension to the Season 4 finale, with Chuck touching Castiel's shoulder, etc.

Also: If you think about it, that's the cosmic equivalent of locking them in a closet together until they get the point.
