Oh yea. Its quite possible. And yes, by law he has to pay child support until the kid is 18 (usually, unless determined otherwise by the court). He really has no obligation to tell his significant other unless he deams it appropriate. Lotsa guys usually dont bring it up bc its a relationship killer for girls. I mena, myself personally would NEVER EVER date a person who already has a kid.

So it is possible that 20 years down the line, the girl could never know that her man had a kid, even after the kid is all grown up.

That's scarey.

But then again, sooner or later, i would believe he couldn't hide the child support.

Anything this day of age is possible. If someone wants to hide something bad enough, they will stop at nothing to do so.

I guess in England its different because my dad left about 7 years ago and he hasn't given us any child support money, so I guess its easier over here to hide the fact that you have a kid.
Why the interest? xx

Nothing really...just curious.
Curious of how far someone will go to save their own ass. LoL

I'm sure it's easier than we think...
Only reason I think so is cause I've been talking to an ex lately who has a kid. And if it weren't for the pictures on MySpace I wouldn't know. And I wouldn't have suspected it. Even so, with the pictures and all, he still hasn't told me personally.
Odd.

That is a bit odd.
What do you think he'd say if you brought it up?

I don't think I can bring it up... I'm not really in a position to. I'm sure he'll tell me when the time's right.
But if I were to bring it up, I'm just he'd tell me...
I asked his brother so I know that the kid is in fact his though.

Wow...so maybe he might already know that you know about his kids and don't really need to tell you.

dude only has to pay if he gets a court order to do so. So if a woman wants child support she has to take the man to court. I have some issues with the whole system though. Like I want to make sure my money is going to my children and not to a spiteful woman who is using it as a means to hurt me. On that note think about it, if you are with someone and you have a doubt about their truthfulness then anything is possible. A man can have another LIFE and you not know about it. I knew of a woman who was with a MARRIED man and did not know it. We are slick when we want to be .... He could pay the child support from another account you know nothing about, having it taken right out of his wages on the low...
Peace
