this is really sweet and definitely in character. i love how she can tell they've bost lost weight -- that she knows his own body as well as her own. i also really like the angst of the way michael points out that maybe the ends didn't justify the means i.e. both of their fathers and veronica. really nicely done! i hope you don't mind i've added it to my memories.
