*humongous happysigh* A perfect ending to an amazing fic. Really, I'm all mellow and fluffy and loved up after that, I'm having a hard time thinking of words for commenting!

I loved Jeremy's thoughts as he drove, the sweet realisation that they'd been interpreting each other for quite a while and then: It feels almost like he's unlocked a new level on an Xbox game and gained some new, revelatory skills. *giggles* The sudden shift there is so very Jeremy!

Also, the chat with Richard is completely FABULOUS, oh my god, he is SPOT. ON. LOL I adore Jeremy and Richard's friendship and you've captured it so well in that. *g*

AND THEN. THE GETTING TOGETHER, with the more poetry and the sex and oh god JAMES. *wibbles* James May's voice should be a controlled substance.

"I want to come in the mouth that made me brave enough for this," he says

Fucking hell, Jez, that is an EXCELLENT line. Nnnguh. The whole thing was just so fucking hot. I am SO SO GLAD you wrote this and posted it and ignored your fears that were completely unfounded. *g ( ... )

You liked - it worked -hurray \o/
Feel the J/J true love - feeeeeeel it XD

I haven't written anything long in absolutely ages so I'm really glad this one has come together - and so have James and Jeremy ;P Richard is one of my favourite people to write when he's being himself and I'm not trying to slash him too much, his personality brightens up any fic I think. So I'm really chuffed that he sounded right to you!

Jeremy has said many times that the Winnie the Pooh stories are his favourite - he wrote a column in which he said - Yup. I gave this some serious thought in the bath this morning and I have decided that we are all either Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Kanga, Roo, Wol, Rabbit or Eeyore ( ... )

Oh my...

I am going to leave comments as I go otherwise I might forget!

I adore James' Pooh poem. I got such a thrill out of reading Jeremy's references to who is most like what characters, and I love imagining that Jeremy would read the books to his children, and think of the characters as him, James and Richard :)

And then Richard and Jeremy's phone conversation! Ahh! I love your Richard, he is so, so spot on and brilliant. Just brilliant! Actually, that is something I really love in a fic; even when it is just one pairing, if the other character is still there throughout most of it. I love watching them together on TG way more than when it's just them on their own and it definitely is the same for fic. In saying that, I have no idea why I am not a OT3 girl! Too hard to write!

And finally when Jeremy is in James' house, after so much teasing and flirting - I can feel Jeremy's anguish and fear. It's so real to me.... and then the slow, delicious start to their sex. Excuse me while I melt.

Yay, you liked it & it's all ended and everyone's happy \o/

Thanks so much for reading it all and commenting, I wasn't expecting it to be anyone else's thing really. I like writing fic like this because all of the boys can be present and much as I enjoy Hammond!sex, my favourite Richard to write is the best mate. The bloke who'll do anything for his mates - as he's shown in RL - is the bloke on screen and I love that about him ;D

I'm so relieved that the sexing and the 'poetry' worked and it left you in a happy place *squish*

Before I get to the '*nnnngh* part of this comment, I'd just like to say that I absolutely loved Richard's reaction to Jeremy's revelation. :D:D:D

And Colin's '*You* can't explain something? OMG THE WORLD IS ENDING!' comment had me giggling. :D

“Your body...fuck-.” James stops suddenly as he lowers himself down

Oh, god, that moment was perfect, when it hits James that he's finally getting his desire and his words desert him because of the overwhelming emotion. Just beautiful.

And Jeremy's poetry... :D:D:D:D:D:D not as skilled but oh so honest.

And the Pooh book. :D:D:D One question: is 'Wol' Owl?

Thanks so much for reading, really glad you enjoyed it!

I love writing best-mate!Hammond, he can be so much more 'him' at times than when he's being a sex God ;)

I like to think even Mr Erotica, James May himself gets lost for words sometimes - can you think what you'd say if you were naked on top of Jeremy Clarkson?.... No, see it's tricky XD

Wol is Owl, yes. I wanted to use Owl so it was clearer but Jeremy is a Winnie-the-Pooh!purist and he uses Wol so it wouldn't have felt right to me if I didn't: I gave this some serious thought in the bath this morning and I have decided that we are all either Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Kanga, Roo, Wol, Rabbit or Eeyore.

Let us take the example of my colleagues on Top Gear. James May is Wol. He thinks he is very serious and very clever, but actually he can’t even spell his name properly. Then there is Richard Hammond, who is Piglet. And though I have a big stomach and a fondness for elevenses whether it’s 11 in the morning or four in the afternoon, I am Tigger.

Firstly, omg, that ending! I can hear that last line in Jeremy's voice and I think my heart just burst from adorableness. They're just so sweet.

This is fantastic...little things kept getting to me, all the way through. Like the exclamation mark being "a coward's kiss", the xbox metaphor, James' no-phones-in-the-pub rule, and Jeremy's glee over Winnie the Pooh.

I love the way James started to have a wank, but that hearing from Jeremy stopped him, rather than encouraging him. It's sensible, at his age *g* and lovely that his feelings for Jeremy are deeper than just lust.

I love Jeremy finding his own poetic voice, finding a way to say things that's as layered and rich as their usual forms of communication. And the effect it has on James, that Jeremy would put in an effort like that, over him.

And oh, how I love poor nervous Jeremy when they're finally alone, just being held and being home with James. The sweetness and the tentative pace of the whole scene between the two of them is just lovely. Especially when even James' poetry ( ... )

Thank you, so much :) I'm really relieved and happy that you've have enjoyed it and that the J/Js are happily snuggled together - possibly with Jez telling James about Richard's desire to join in....

They're such silly, adorable blokes together.
Thanks for reading/commenting x

I've run out of words for how lovely this is. The buildup and the waiting is just perfect, the two of them unable to resist checking in with each other, each thinking and wondering and imagining. Jeremy's revelation about just how long James has been waiting and why. And I love the way they complement each other here - James confident with sex and Jeremy confident with love, the way that means they've had to find their way to each other.

James' Pooh poem is just utterly lovely. Only one hundred more somethings with you. This is me sniffling and wiping my eyes. So sweet ( ... )

*massive hugs*

I'm really, genuinely relieved and happy that you liked it - I only wrote it for you so if you hadn't...eeek XD

James has so much going on and I get the feeling he'll get involved with things easily but to get to the real him is tricky. He's not so much guarded physically but emotionally whereas Jeremy knows himself only too well and has no problems with extreme emotions. He loves and he hates and he's emotional. Somewhere along the line there has to be a point where the two cross and J/J is made ;)

Thank you so much for prompting me to write it, I never would have had the confidence if it wasn't a request fic ♥

Oh, that's fantastic - I love it, I love how James' words are all swimming over each other like they did over Jeremy and different ones keep leaping out. that's exactly the affect James' note had when Jez was reading it :D

Wow - thank you, SO MUCH!
