What a beautiful and natural photo of Jackie playing with Caroline at the beach. It's so hard to believe that the little girl is now in her mid-40s.

That is precisely why I chose this photograph! It's not posed, it's completely natural: a Mother and her child engaged in play. It's the most typical sort of act a mother and child can partake in and so beautifully represented above.

I have never seen that picture of Jackie before! What a perfect image for your Mother's Day wishes. I hope you have had just the kind of day you wanted, with Shannon and Madeline by your side.

Until Friday, neither had I. I'll admit I'm a bit of a Jackie-phile. If it's not obvious, I just adore her and her legacy. I have a large collection of photographs of her alone and with ehr family, but I'd never seen such a photograph of her: impetuous and carefree. It was a lovely portrayal of family and though we know this is Jackie and Caroline-it really could be any mother playing with her daughter in the surf.

It was so nice.
