We are putting up our tree and I am going to purchase a 7 sets of 100 mini bulbs. The question is, do we keep the traditional "colored" lights that we've always had or do we go for just the white look that seems so popular these days. In my opinion, using only white lights is bland bland BLAND. Both together can be aesthetically pleasing, but difficult to have TOGETHER on the same tree. Colored just have that je ne sais pas to them.

Or maybe I am just a blathering TRADITIONALIST who covers my tree with mid-sized colorful lights, yes yes.
