I told my grandmother yesterday that I was going shopping for a pajama/lingerie party, and she just realized today that people would actually be wearing underwear at the party (I think she thought Erin had requested gifts of lingerie). She freaked out, and said, "That's crazy! I've never heard of anything like that! I'm ashamed for all of you. I was fussing about everybody wearing black, and now you're going out in public in your underwear."
